Victoria to host first multi-city Commonwealth Games
The 2026 Commonwealth Games will be held in Victoria, Australia, the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) has confirmed.
The Games will be the first to be held since the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of King Charles III as Head of the Commonwealth.
The Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games will be the first multi-city model, with events to be held in Melbourne, Ballarat, Gippsland, Bendigo and Shepparton.
The CGF said the multi-city model would "ensure that the Games are accessible to as many people as possible."
The 2026 Commonwealth Games will be the 22nd edition of the Games, which are held every four years.
