Fifth Anniversary of Pope Francis' Message to Young People

Pope Francis has signed a 50-page letter addressed to all Christian young people, which was released in Loreto, Italy. In the letter, Pope Francis expresses his desire to reach out to young people with a message that could be "a source of joy and hope."

The letter, entitled "Rejoicing in Hope," was released ahead of the next diocesan synod, which will take place in October 2018. Pope Francis invites young people to joy and authenticity in the letter, encouraging them to "embrace the future with hope and courage."
