History of the Grand Prix
The Canadian Grand Prix was first held in 1967 and has been a regular fixture on the Formula 1 calendar ever since. The race has been won by some of the greatest drivers in history, including Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, and Sebastian Vettel.
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve
The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is a 4.361-kilometer (2.710-mile) race track located on the Ile Notre-Dame in Montreal. The track is named after the late Gilles Villeneuve, a Canadian Formula 1 driver who died in a crash at the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix.
